Shockwave game : a table tennis simulation

I just love this table tennis simulation ! At the beginning, you will think it's too hard for you when you lose by 21-0. But after a few games, you will find how to handle the racket with the mouse - and you're gonna have big fun. The trick is to move your mouse as if you were really playing with it, with a forward movement and no click necessary. Too bad you can only play with three different opponents in this demo version in Shockwave.

A Flash version of Street Fighter 2

Did you know that the cult fighting game Street Fighter 2 had a Flash avatar which is playable freely on the Web ? It's not exactly the same as the original one : the kicks are a bit different and you can play only with Ryu, the karateka who launches fireballs. The fights are somewhat difficult because you have to play with the keyboard but simple combinations are available for the special blows.

Trackmania Nations : the ultimate free racing game

If you like car races with crazy tracks, loopings and so forth, stop searching : you've found the best free, multiplayer racing game ever. With Trackmania Nations, you'll have tens of tracks to train on, before competing in online challenges. It's a bit difficult, in the beginning, to deal with these unusual tracks with various obstacles, springboards and loopings, but it's a real delight once you've succeeded. If you have some inspiration, you can even create your own racing circuits with the editor. My advice : don't miss this free game, you won't regret it !

Dad 'n Me : an atypical fighting game

That's what we can call a non-politically correct game. In "Dad 'n Me", you're gonna play the bad guy - in fact the bad boy. You're a monster's kid who has to kick and punch all the little children in the neighborhood. You can even grab them and throw them on the road so that the cars pass on them! Of course, you'll need some second-degree sense of humor to appreciate this free Flash game.

An open source Risk game

The famous strategy game is now available freely in its electronic version. In this open source game, you have to cope with virtual ennemies to achieve your objective: controlling several specific continents, destroying one of your foes or conquering the world. The rules are exactly the same as in the original board game but you can also play on new maps, notably an interesting map of the Roman Empire. It will never be as fun as a real Risk game with you friends, with alliances and treasons, but this game is worth the detour.
